Book Storage of Awesome Proportions

When I moved in with my boyfriend 6+ months ago I knew we’d have our work cut out for us. It’s hard when you first start living with someone – getting used to their quirks, learning to share your space, making sacrifices, etc. Honestly, I wasn’t as worried about it as I probably should have been. Having been married previously, I know what it’s like to live with someone. I wasn’t too concerned about whether or not we’d drive each other nuts or want to kill each other.

What did keep me up at night though was the same question, popping up over and over again: Where was I going to put all the books?! Between the two of us, we have quite a few books. His daughter loves to read, as well, so I imagine her shelf will only continue to grow over the years.

  1. Kiersten, I believe I have you beat. I have stacks of books everywhere (my desk, end tables, floor, closets, hundreds still stored in boxes after moving 13 years ago, plus all of our several bookcases full with stacks atop those properly stored side-by-side. I’m a book fanatic. But I do love my books! 🙂
Very nice bookcase you have being built, by the way!
